By this point in time, humans have discovered that there are more highly intelligent species that live among them. They come in all forms. They are aloud to live peacefully and be treated equally as long as they register as an angel or a demon. People with no criminal record must register as an angel. If you have a criminal record, or related to somebody who is registered as a demon, you must register as a demon. It is very hard to qualify for an angel. You may even be forced to register as a demon if you so much have the slightest mental disability. Some cases where you had horrible grades in school, but this has stopped. Ichiro is registered as a demon. But this was, apparently, for a good cause.

Ichiro was born in 1989. He is over 1000 years old. He watched the world change. Watched it go through an entire apocalyptic-like world and back to a normal state. His brother, Tomi, lived alongside him. Tomi has been sick for a very long time. He's dying slowly, but somehow still alive.

Ichiro appears to be a nice, and calm guy. He let Suki into his home and cared for her when she was at her worse. He provided her with good schooling, nice clothes, and slowly helping her through her strong alcoholic problem. But he is not all how he appears to be.

Ichiro had a criminal record through the point in time the world started to go through it's apocalyptic state. Ichiro isn't even his name. It's been changed so many times. He killed a lot of people, robbed a lot of stores, sold drugs and scarce resources. All for the sake of his brother. He has the equivalent of schizophrenia to his species. It's mostly the same as it effects humans, but it's a lot worse.

His species used to have a tendency to become "hostile". Their eyes turn silver, and they become angry. They are very dangerous in this state and will hurt anybody in their path, no matter who they are. They are completely unpredictable. However, this is rare now a'days. It's been rare to find somebody who can't control themselves at this state long before Ichiro or Tomi were born. Ichiro is one of the few of his kind who still can't control his hostile state. His doctor say that it's because of his mental state.

Ichiro, in reality, is an abusive little prick. It doesn't matter if he's hostile or not. On the inside, he's hateful and greedy. All he really cares about is himself. The reason why he even cared for his brother was because he didn't want to be blamed for his death. Tomi even wishes Ichiro would let him die. He's been in so much pain for so long. Almost 1000 years of pain.
